After hiking up Red Mountain, Emma proclaimed that she’d like to be buried there. Dying soon after, she was indeed buried on the mountain until heavy rains dislodged coffin. That coffin raced down the mountain, catalyzing the start of the Coffin Races! Come join locals celebrating her life this October 28 on the 900 block of Manitou Ave.
